Open Question: why does history channel not talk about history anymore?

It used to be a channel of documentaries about our past. NOW ITS ALIEN BULLCRAP and REDNECK's huntin gators or idiots jousting. I don't care if you believe in aliens but its not proven there is extraterrestrial life and its not in our history.
